Education,
Re-Imagined.

Our Academic Model
At CASA, our academic program is designed to challenge and support each student while recognizing that every learner is different. Students are generally grouped with peers at the same grade level, but we maintain flexibility so students can receive additional support or advanced challenges when appropriate.
Students receive a full year of instruction in math, science, social studies, reading, and writing, all taught in person by educators using a teacher-designed curriculum aligned with South Carolina state standards. Teachers draw from a variety of established curriculum resources to create lessons that best support our students.
Students are enrolled as homeschool students through the state of South Carolina, but CASA manages all administrative responsibilities for families, including registration, documentation, academic records, and transcripts.
How We Are Different
Our classrooms are intentionally small, with a 12:1 student-to-teacher ratio, allowing educators to build strong relationships with students and provide individualized attention. Instruction is delivered on anHonors/Gifted and Talented pathway, encouraging critical thinking, deeper discussion, and higher-level problem solving.
Because many of our students have demanding athletic schedules, CASA does not assign traditional homework. Instead, teachers use classroom time to guide students through assignments while also helping them develop strong study habits and independent learning skills.
To ensure students continue progressing academically, we utilize NWEA MAP assessments throughout the year. These nationally recognized adaptive tests help teachers monitor growth and tailor instruction to each student’s needs.

Our Philosophy
Our school will create the best possible educational experience for every student through flexibility, differentiation, and personal connection. We uphold state standards without compromise while integrating essential life skills that prepare students for their life outside of the classroom and appeal to their interests.
